I really like its shading and face shape.You shaded really well,specially below the neck,in the muzzle and the beggining of the jaw area.I would just shade a little more inside the ears,and shade with more contrast in the eye,to make it a more shiny surface in comparison with the rest of the face. Hey, thanks! As for improving your shading, you tend to improve quickly if you do it a lot. Just practice shading on your spare time. It also helps to observe how shading works on actual things, and how other artists use it.
